When the world was in the grip of the global coronavirus pandemic, people were confined to their homes and had to explore new hobbies to make the most of their time indoors. It was during this challenging time that Karachi-based host Munawar Mallah launched a unique and informative program that not only entertained viewers but also deepened their understanding of history, politics, and culture. The name of this program is "Goliyan Goliyan Man Lahan."

The host selects a historical or well-known personality in his mind, while the guests attempt to guess who it is by asking a series of yes-or-no questions. Each episode allows up to 20 questions. If the guests correctly identify the personality, it is considered a “success,” and the round ends—moving on to the next hidden personality in the following episode.

According to the Mallah brothers, this game originated as a fun family activity. During the lockdown, when going outside was restricted, they started forming teams at home and playing this game among themselves. What began as a way to pass time turned into a joyful routine that brought the family closer, fostered patience, and encouraged healthy conversations.
This homegrown idea eventually evolved into a full-fledged online program. Sadly, one of the beloved online participants, Kalimullah Mallah, has since passed away — but his memory lives on through the episodes he was part of.
